Shopping and eating out

Lucenay-l’Évêque, 10 minutes away, has a small Proxi supermarket and the Boulangerie du Ternin for fresh bread and croissants (closed Mondays). For a big shop, go to Autun, 25 minutes.

The restaurant La Roseraie in Lucenay-l’Évêque is genuinely good. Do call ahead to book a table: 03 85 82 68 95. They speak Dutch, French and English.

Our cat

Our cat roams freely and is very sociable, so he will almost certainly come and say hello.
